What a pleasure it was to have Jorgen as my house guest, this quiet, charming virtuoso delighted us all when he played that evening. His meticulous performance, his astounding technique made this evening one of the most memorable for my guests and myself. Jorgen Born in 1962 in Nykoping of a musical family, they played accordion, string bass, guitar and cello. He began playing at the age of 7 years, and took lessons from Hans Erik Nuas. He made records and played on national TV and radio. In Ove Hahn's book on the life of Anthony Galla Rini, Jorgen is listed as one of his most outstanding pupils. Jorgen was Anthony Galla Rini's pupils for 2 years, to expand his concert repertoire. He has toured with Galla Rini in concert tours in North America and Europe, and produced joint recordings. Jorgen visits the states to administer workshops in a one week seminar with Maestro Galla Rini, in Portland Oregon. This wonderful soloist has recorded many notable recordings, and his appearances always leaving the listener completely overwhelmed with such mastery of the Accordion.
